Kikowaena means "center of the circle" in Hawaiian. What an appropriate phrase to describe the beauty that hooping has brought into my life. We are building a movement and building a brand here in Honolulu, so hopefully you will start seeing more hooping on Oahu! This blog was made to promote our hooping, but also to spread beautiful photos and videos of other hoopers around the world.
I made a promo video to put on my RAW Artists page. I need someone with real video skills to help me out, I did this all myself. It turned out great for what it is, but I think I need to take it to the next level in some way.
Skylar from Soul Fire Productions on Kauai came to visit Honolulu and got down at our Magic Island hoop jam with a rainbow in the background
Kate the flow ninja hooping it up on the beach at sunset. Queens Beach, Oahu.
Shakti Dance Movement, a Honolulu bellydance group, rocks out at Tribal Fest 11. These girls are so talented and we are so lucky to have to have such diversity of dance in Honolulu!
Sirkka’s sunset hoop session. Playing with poi hooping at Queen’s Beach on Oahu.
