Kikowaena means "center of the circle" in Hawaiian. What an appropriate phrase to describe the beauty that hooping has brought into my life. We are building a movement and building a brand here in Honolulu, so hopefully you will start seeing more hooping on Oahu! This blog was made to promote our hooping, but also to spread beautiful photos and videos of other hoopers around the world.
A video made about my favorite gathering in Hawaii… the Yogarden. Positive music, positive vibes, I even make a split second cameo with my poi hoops in here. We are so lucky to have such a great event happening every month. The people involved are all doing it for the love of art and music and community.
I LOVE the one of me! It just seems to exude strength. I love the way my arm that’s holding the hoop looks. And you can’t beat the view! I need more Lanikai Hoop Love!
