Kikowaena means "center of the circle" in Hawaiian. What an appropriate phrase to describe the beauty that hooping has brought into my life. We are building a movement and building a brand here in Honolulu, so hopefully you will start seeing more hooping on Oahu! This blog was made to promote our hooping, but also to spread beautiful photos and videos of other hoopers around the world.
I made a promo video to put on my RAW Artists page. I need someone with real video skills to help me out, I did this all myself. It turned out great for what it is, but I think I need to take it to the next level in some way.
YES! The Hawaii Fire Artist audition video for Burning Man Fire Conclave! I can’t believe this miracle that we pulled off. I’m one of the fire hoopers!

Afternoon Hallowbaloo kanikapila with the band Medicine for the People at Kaimana beach park. Revolve Hawaii representing a long with a bunch of new hoopers!
This band hails from the Big Island by way of Portland OR, and they brought all sorts of hoopers with them to Honolulu. When they first began playing, there were almost 20 people hooping. That’s like the most amount of consecutive hoopers we’ve had in Honolulu, at least as far as we know.
Love this band and love the new friends we made!
